dr. REBEKAH HARTFIELD
FOUNDER/VETERINARIAN
Dr. Hartfield is a dedicated veterinarian, author, and advocate for animal health and education. She holds two associate degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University.
After graduating, Dr. Hartfield began her career at a mixed animal practice in Cushing, Oklahoma, where her passion for veterinary medicine and community outreach truly flourished. It was during this time that she began mentoring aspiring veterinarians and found her calling not only in healing animals but also in educating the next generation. This mission inspired her to create The Doctor Hartfield Veterinary Book Series, which follows Abby—a young farm girl—and Dr. H. as they care for animals and explore real-world veterinary concepts. The series helps children better understand pet care while sparking interest in veterinary science.
In 2019, Dr. Hartfield purchased her first practice in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where she continues to provide compassionate care for both large and small animals. As the owner of both Hartfield Veterinary Clinic and Holdenville Veterinary Clinc, she leads with a commitment to excellence, empathy, and community connection.
When she’s not treating animals or visiting classrooms to read her books, Dr. Hartfield enjoys life in Mannford with her husband Preston and their son, Paden. As a family, they love spending time outdoors—especially on Lake Keystone.
Dr. Adison Hood

Dr. Adison Hood joined Hartfield Veterinary Clinic in 2025 after earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from [insert hometown if you'd like], Dr. Hood has a strong background in rural mixed animal practice, with a particular passion for swine, cattle, and equine medicine. Her professional interests also include reproductive services and community-based veterinary care.
Dr. Hood is dedicated to serving both the pets and livestock of Holdenville and Mannford areas. As part of our ongoing commitment to accessible care, she plays a key role in expanding our services—including low-cost spay/neuter events and monthly coverage at our Urgent Care Clinic.
We’re proud to have Dr. Hood as part of the Hartfield team and excited for the expertise and energy she brings to our practice.
Rachel Francies

Her journey began in college as a kennel assistant, and through hard work and a passion for animal care, she’s grown into a vital leadership role, ensuring our clinic runs efficiently while supporting both our team and our patients.
Rachel thrives in the fast-paced environment of our urgent care clinic and enjoys the variety of animals and cases we see each day. She’s especially proud to work alongside Dr. Hartfield and be part of a team that shares her commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
Outside the clinic, Rachel is just as devoted to animals. She and her high school sweetheart, Tony, have fostered over 50 dogs over the years, demonstrating their deep love for rescue work. They live on a small hobby farm with their two children, a lively mix of rescue dogs and cats, chickens, and three horses.
