dr. REBEKAH HARTFIELD

FOUNDER/VETERINARIAN

Dr. Hartfield earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. After graduation, she began her career in mixed animal practice in Cushing, Oklahoma, where she discovered a passion not only for caring for animals but also for mentoring the next generation of veterinarians.

Today, Dr. Hartfield is the proud owner and operator of three rural Oklahoma mixed animal practices—Holdenville Veterinary Clinic, Hartfield Veterinary Clinic, and Lake Area Veterinary Clinic. Through these clinics, she is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to both large and small animals while expanding access to veterinary services in rural communities across Oklahoma.

Her passion for education extends beyond the exam room. Dr. Hartfield is the author of the Dr. Hartfield Book Series, a five-book collection created to teach children about responsible pet ownership while inspiring an interest in veterinary medicine and animal health.

When she's not caring for patients, mentoring students, or writing her next book, Dr. Hartfield enjoys spending time at the lake, water skiing, and riding horses with her husband, Preston, and their son, Paden.

Dr. Adison Hood

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Hood grew up in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where her passion for animals began through years of involvement in 4-H and FFA. She raised and showed pigs, managed cattle, and developed a lifelong love for animal care and production.

She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with honors from Oklahoma State University before continuing at OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2024.

Dr. Hood especially enjoys working with pigs, and her professional interests include reproduction and herd health. (She loves all animals—though she’ll admit the feathered and scaly ones might not be her favorites!)

We’re proud to have Dr. Hood as part of our veterinary team and know you’ll enjoy getting to know her and the compassionate care she provides to her patients.

Dr. Hood is dedicated to serving both the pets and livestock of Holdenville and Mannford areas. As part of our ongoing commitment to accessible care, she plays a key role in expanding our services—including low-cost spay/neuter events and monthly coverage at our Urgent Care Clinic.

We’re proud to have Dr. Hood as part of the Hartfield team and excited for the expertise and energy she brings to our practice.

Dr. Teri Stacy

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Stacy is a familiar face to many in the Cleveland area, where she spent years caring for horses and companion animals while building lasting relationships with clients. Originally from the Bixby area, she later established a successful mobile equine practice based out of Bixby, allowing her to serve horse owners throughout northeastern Oklahoma. Throughout her career, her greatest passion has always been equine medicine, and she has developed extensive experience in preventive care, lameness evaluations, reproductive medicine, emergency care, and performance horse health.

While horses remain close to her heart, Dr. Stacy has recently returned to her roots in rural mixed animal medicine, where she enjoys caring for everything from family pets to livestock. She values the variety that mixed animal practice offers and enjoys partnering with owners to provide compassionate, practical care for animals of all sizes.

We are excited to have Dr. Stacy sharing her years of experience, knowledge, and passion for veterinary medicine with our clients and their animals. Her commitment to quality medicine, client education, and personalized care makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Stacy enjoys attending barrel races with her daughter, riding horses, spending time with her own pets, and relaxing by the pool with family and friends.

Dr. Stacy will also be seeing patients one weekend each month at our Hartfield Veterinary Clinic Urgent Care location, giving clients the opportunity to benefit from her extensive experience while helping us continue to provide high-quality veterinary care when it's matters most.

avery dawes

Veterinary Assistant

Avery is heading into her senior year of high school and has already become a valued member of the Hartfield Veterinary Clinic team. Her positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and love for animals make her a wonderful addition to our clinic. Her favorite part of working here is meeting all the different animals and breeds that come through our doors and helping care for them each day.

Outside of the clinic, Avery is an accomplished vocalist. She and her ensemble partner earned a Superior rating at the Oklahoma State Choir Contest, an achievement she is very proud of. At home, she enjoys caring for her own animals, including her service dog, Sadie, a cat, a rabbit, and a flock of chickens and quail.

After graduation, Avery hopes to pursue a career in professional dog training, with a special interest in service dogs and other working dogs. We are excited to be a part of her journey and look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in the years ahead.

Kyriana Beard

Veterinary Assistant

Kyriana is one of our dedicated Veterinary Assistants and brings an infectious positive attitude to our team every day. Her warm personality, bright spirit, and genuine compassion for both animals and people make her a joy to work with and someone our clients and coworkers truly enjoy being around.

Kyriana is currently a sophomore at Oklahoma State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis. After completing her undergraduate studies, she plans to attend veterinary school with the goal of returning to a rural community to practice mixed animal medicine.

Kyriana brings an impressive background in animal care and horsemanship. She has numerous accomplishments in both Dressage and Western Dressage, and enjoys showing her horse Simba in her free time. In addition to her equestrian achievements, she actively exhibited livestock throughout high school, gaining valuable hands-on experience caring for a variety of species.

We are excited to watch her continue to grow throughout her veterinary journey and know she has an incredibly bright future ahead.
