Will Rogers Elementary Pre-K and Kindergarten were visited by Author Dr. Rebekah Hartfield and her pig Rosie. The students were read the book “Rosie the Pig” by Dr. Hartfield and then were able to meet Rosie who the book was written about. The students all enjoyed the visit immensely.

Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences opened its doors to the community during the center’s Annual Open House on April 7, 2018. In spite of colder weather, more than 1,200 visitors attended.

Springtown Kids Learn About Animal Science

Dr. Rebekah Workman Hartfield, now a veterinarian, presented the children’s book she authored, Rosie the Pig, to Springtown ISD elementary students from all three of the district’s K-4 campuses Thursday, Feb. 1. Hartfi eld’s book, which was published last July, tells the story of Abby’s pig, Rosie, as Dr. H. and Abby examine, diagnose, and treat her.
